Liberty Mutual EVP Burnett’s Role Expands in Business Insurance Unit
Liberty Mutual Insurance has given Executive Vice President Julie Burnett an added responsibility as head of distribution for the company’s Business Insurance operation.
In addition to this appointment, Burnett will continue to lead the company’s Small Commercial strategy and execution, also within the Business Insurance operation. She will continue to be based in Liberty Mutual’s Boston headquarters office.
In her newly expanded role, Burnett and her Boston-based team develop and implement field strategies for sales, compensation and training support to approximately 9,500 independent agency storefronts served by more than 200 field personnel across eight regions countrywide.
Burnett’s insurance career spans more than 25 years and includes numerous executive capacities, including field sales and operations. Prior to her current roles, she was president and chief executive officer for Liberty Mutual’s northwest regional operation.
