Georgia’s Ink Underwriting Acquires California’s Pioneer Programs
Newly-formed Ink Underwriting in Kennesaw, Georgia, said it has acquired Pioneer Programs Insurance Solutions, a Pasadena, California-based niche insurance program administrator for the construction and long term care industries.
The firm said Pioneer Programs, which was formed in 2008, has a nationwide program for contractors, Contractor’s Choice, offering contractors wrap and wrap takeover products. In addition to Contractors Choice, Pioneer Programs offers a skilled and assisted nursing home program, according to the announcement.
Hunter Moss, managing partner at Ink Underwriting, said the partnership will help both companies grow.
Carole Fleischman, managing director and chief underwriting officer at Pioneer Programs who created the exclusive contractor’s program, said the deal allows Pioneer to expand its offerings.
Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Established in March 2013, Ink Underwriting is a wholesale brokerage firm focusing on workers’ compensation, general liability and miscellaneous insurance for small to medium size employers.
