MarketScout Expands Private Client Services, Hires New Executive Leadership
MarketScout, the national electronic insurance exchange and specialty MGA with headquarters in Dallas, has expanded its nationwide specialty high-net-worth underwriting practice by bringing Brian Botwinick on board as senior vice president. Formerly a director with Quaker Special Risk, Botwinick will provide executive leadership and underwriting expertise to the MarketScout team.
According to Richard Kerr, CEO of MarketScout, Botwinick is an approved underwriter with Lloyd’s of London and U.S. binding facilities. Botwinick has held underwriting and marketing positions at Chubb and Atlantic Mutual.
MarketScout is a Lloyd’s Coverholder and MGA for U.S. insurers and recently repurchased 100 percent of its interest in MSW and is implementing an expansion plan for that company. MarketScout owns and operates the MarketScout Exchange as well as over 40 other online and traditional underwriting and distribution venues. MarketScout founded the Council for Insuring Private Clients (CIPC) and the Entrepreneurial Insurance Alliance (EIA). The annual Entrepreneurial Insurance Symposium (EIS) is hosted by MarketScout in Dallas the second week of September.
