National Interstate Adds Workers’ Comp to Passenger Program
National Interstate Insurance Co., a provider of transportation insurance, will add workers’ compensation to its traditional insurance program for best-in-class passenger transportation operations on Oct. 1, 2012. Previously, this coverage option was only widely available to customers selecting an alternative risk transfer program.
With the Oct. 1 expansion, National Interstate will be able to provide one-stop-shopping for automobile and workers’ compensation coverages for select passenger transportation accounts.
National Interstate Insurance Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of National Interstate Corp., is a specialty property and casualty insurance company with a niche orientation and focus on the transportation industry. It is headquartered in Richfield, Ohio with operations in Honolulu, Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Fenton, Mo.
