CPCU Society’s Brown to Also Lead Griffith Foundation
The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation has named Kevin H. Brown as its executive director. The organization said that this new role will complement Brown’s responsibilities as executive director of the CPCU Society.
The Griffith Foundation is affiliated with The Institutes, which offer the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) education programs. The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization that promotes the study and teaching of risk management and all lines of insurance.
The organizations said that closer coordination of The Griffith Foundation and CPCU Society will help both organizations achieve their strategic goals.
Brown and the team at The Griffith Foundation will be developing a long-term plan to address the expected insurance industry human resource shortage as an estimated 500,000 people retire from the insurance industry within the next 10 years.
The Institutes have also identified expanded public policymaker education as a priority and Brown is expected to make recommendations in this area.
