TechAssure Launches Website for IT Coverage

Members of TechAssure have created a website to offer fast quotes for IT-related businesses looking for coverage with CoverITfast.

The website, http://coveritfast.com/coverit/, was designed to speed up the process of procuring insurance for IT consultants and technology companies across the nation.

The CoverITfast product is a single comprehensive product for tech companies that includes professional liability risk exposures to technology errors and omissions, network security liability, personal injury and privacy liability, failure to prevent authorized system access, and media and intellectual property coverage.

Minimum premiums start at $995. The program manager for CoverITfast is the San Rafael, Calif.-based broker Costello & Sons Insurance Brokers, Inc. It is backed by a carrier with an A++ A.M. Best rating.

TechAssure is a nonprofit international association of insurance brokers that specializes in providing insurance for venture capital and private equity firms, as well as their portfolio companies and IT consultants. The organizations members represent more than 4,000 clients with more than $1 billion in property and liability premiums.
