Marsh Announces Two Promotions in Central Zone

Marsh announced two promotions in its central business zone. It promoted Jack Butcher as its central zone leader and Dan Deighton as leader of its newly expanded east central partnership within the central zone.

In his new role, Butcher is responsible for driving the growth of Marsh’s central zone, which includes offices in 18 cities across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Western Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Butcher most recently served as Marsh’s U.S. sales leader. Prior to that, he was the north central partnership leader, responsible for Marsh’s Chicago, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis offices. He succeeds Greg Stanbury, who has left the firm.

Deighton previously led Marsh’s mid-west central partnership, which has been merged into the east central partnership. The new east central partnership includes Marsh’s offices in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania. Deighton is also Marsh’s Detroit office head. He will report to Butcher in his new role.
