Caputo, Former Citi Exec and Clinton Aide, Joins Travelers
Lisa Caputo is joining The Travelers Companies, Inc. as executive vice president for marketing and communications on June 1.
Caputo joins Travelers from Citigroup, where she was managing director for the public sector group. Until recently, she served as executive vice president of global marketing and corporate affairs. Her previous experience at Citi includes serving as chief marketing officer.
Previously, Caputo spent over a decade in the public sector, including serving as deputy assistant to President Bill Clinton and as press secretary to First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton during Clinton’s first term.
Also at Citi, Caputo created Women & Co., a membership business designed to provide women with financial services and resources.
Caputo will serve on the Travelers’ management committee and report to Executive Vice President Doreen Spadorcia for marketing and Chief Legal Officer Alan Schnitzer for communications.
