CNA Adds Enhancement to Printing, Graphic Imaging Program
CNA has added an enhancement to its current coverages for printers and publishers. The insurer has broadened the scope of coverage available in its Printing and Graphic Imaging (PGI) program with the addition of the Correction of Work endorsement. Offered exclusively through CNA’s PGI program, the Correction of Work endorsement reimburses printers and publishers for expenses arising out of corrections to their work product.
The Correction of Work endorsement defends and pays third-party claims that may arise when a printer’s customer chooses to retain a different printer to correct the work, then sues the original printer for reimbursement. The endorsement will also reimburse for re-work expenses incurred to prevent litigation. Expenses include the recall and disposal of incorrect work, and the redistribution of corrected material.
Printers Errors & Omission coverage must be purchased as a prerequisite to buying Correction of Work coverage. Limits are available up to $500,000 per occurrence and $500,000 aggregate.
