Great American Launches Contractors Environmental Liability Product
Great American Insurance Group’s Environmental Division has expanded its product line to include a project-specific contracting services environmental liability insurance product. This product offers a streamlined solution to contractors or project owners for pollution exposures during the course of a construction project, including completed operation exposures.
The policy can be written on claims made or an occurrence basis and can be structured for an individual client or as an Owner Controlled Insurance Program or Contractor Controlled Insurance Program. Limits of liability of up to $25 million are available with terms of up to 13 years combined policy term and completed operations period.
The new product launch will be led by Shelli Hamilton and Bill North. Both individuals are based in the Environmental Division’s Plymouth Meeting, Pa., office. Shelli and Bill bring more than 40 years combined contractor’s pollution underwriting experience to the company.
