CNA Enhances its College and Universities Program
CNA has expanded education appetite with several product enhancements to its program for colleges and universities. The insurer’s appetite now includes for-profit private schools, universities and community colleges with an enrollment of 10,000 students or less. This expansion comes six months after CNA’s announcement of its plans to grow in the education industry by adding private colleges and universities to its middle market focus classes. CNA will also consider coverage options for trade and technical schools on a case-by-case basis.
This expansion makes available the following coverages to this group: management, employment practice and educators’ liability; abuse and molestation; cyber liability with NetProtect 360; and foreign study with CNA Passport.
In addition, CNA’s program offers new coverages for U.S. schools with students and faculty traveling, living or working in foreign locations. Travel accident, a form of accidental death and dismemberment coverage, includes coverage for school staff and students while they are working or studying overseas. Kidnap & ransom includes coverage for expenses associated with a kidnapping incident.
