Hartford Steam Boiler Enables Quicker Quotes from Agencies

The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. says it’s the first carrier to enable independent agents and brokers to quote monoline equipment breakdown policies directly from their Vertafore agency management systems.

Hartford Steam Boiler said the change will speed up agents ability to quote policies by allowing customers’ information to flow directly from agency management systems like AMS 360, Sagitta or AfW to the company’s quoting system.

Agents will need to enable their systems to do so, but that change is a one-time process, Hartford Steam Boiler said.
