Allstate in Deal to Set Up Online Bill-Payments
Allstate Corp. and Fiserv Inc. said they’ve worked out a partnership to allow Allstate’s customers to receive and pay bills online through their bank, brokerage or credit union’s Web site.
The e-bill payment program will start later this month. E-bills are paperless bills delivered directly to an online banking account where customers can view, pay and review balances, and schedule payments.
“Providing customers with more control over how, when and where they receive and pay their bill is a tangible example of how companies like Allstate can optimize customer interactions to build stronger relationships,” said Jardon Bouska, executive vice president and general manager of CheckFree Electronic Biller Services, part of Fiserv.
Said Cathy Lazaroff, vice president, customer experience and innovation for Allstate: “CheckFree makes it easier to do business with Allstate and easy for our customers to do something good for the environment… The savings in time, paper and hassle is a win-win for all involved.”
