Insurer to Waive $10K Theft Deductible on Nationally Registered Equipment
Through an alliance between the National Equipment Register and CNA, the insurer will waive up to $10,000 of a policy deductible if a piece of construction equipment registered with the national database is stolen.
National Equipment Register tracks heavy equipment theft and through its database, aids equipment owners, the insurance industry and law enforcement identify and recover stolen equipment.
CNA policyholders will also receive a 20 percent discount on NER’s theft prevention and equipment recovery services, according to a Sept.20 announcement.
