OneBeacon Enters Group AD&D Market

OneBeacon Insurance Group is entering the group Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance market. Three industry veterans — Lori Cernera, Keith Firestone, and Stephen Mueller — recently joined the company to lead the effort. The company is targeting product availability by mid-2007.

Cernera, Firestone, and Mueller were most recently with Zurich North America.

OneBeacon’s new AD&D group will be among the company’s specialty products that serve a variety of niche customer groups including the ocean marine, medical malpractice, lawyers’ professional liability, media liability, excess property, and community bank sectors.
