Pinkes to Lead The Hartford’s P/C Run-Off Operations
The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. reported that Andrew Pinkes has been named president of Heritage Holdings Inc., a unit which oversees the company’s property and casualty run-off operations.
Pinkes, who is currently the senior vice president and chief operating officer of Heritage Holdings, will assume overall responsibility for the group’s operations and subsidiaries effective April 1. In his new role, Pinkes will replace David Robb, who will be retiring after a 30-year career with The Hartford.
Pinkes joined The Hartford in 2003 to lead the company’s asbestos claims management activities and soon thereafter assumed responsibility for the Complex Claim Group, the department that manages all direct asbestos, silica, environmental and complex tort claims. He was named chief operating officer of Heritage Holdings in mid-2005.
