Univ. of Phoenix Offering Credits for Industry Professionals
Insurance professionals who have passed exams administered by the American Institute for CPCU and the Insurance Institute of America (AICPCU/IIA) can now gain credit for those exams in the University of Phoenix’s undergraduate business and management degree programs.
Students must provide an official training record, a certificate specifying the number of classroom hours and date of course completion, or other verification of course completion such as an official transcript from AICPCU/IIA. The University will award credit for a posting fee of $25 per credit.
Students who wish to receive such credit must complete the University’s Non-Degree submission form for Professional Training and Coursework Credit, and attach a copy of the verification of completion and send the form to the Prior Learning Assessment Center for evaluation. A maximum of 60 to 69 lower division credits are eligible for transfer into the business and management undergraduate degree programs, based on the requirements of each program.
