NAIC Donates $10,000 to Honor Former NY Ins. Superintendent Lost in Disaster
In an act of remembrance, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) President and Kansas Insurance Commissioner Kathleen Sebelius announced the association is donating $10,000 to the Neil D. Levin Education Foundation in memory of the former New York superintendent of insurance.
Neil D. Levin, who was serving as the twelfth executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, was among the missing after the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. NAMIC Commends Financial Services Committee for Hearing National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies.
