Liberty International Underwriters, Cogentric Ally to Deploy Cyber Insurance Engine
Liberty International Underwriters (L.I.U.), a division of Liberty Mutual Group, has formed an alliance with Cogentric to assess e-business sites for companies seeking cyber insurance. Available this summer, L.I.U.’s cyber insurance is being developed for the rapidly growing market segment of e-business that depends on mission-critical information systems for their daily operations.
Cogentric’s software solution will allow L.I.U. to provide their clients with a risk assessment model capable of identifying and quantifying the risk and vulnerability of complex e-business Web infrastructures.
Delivering valuable risk and remediation information on a client’s web environment, the assessment engine is a thorough and cost-effective way to help reduce the uncertainty of writing cyber insurance policies.
Formed in 1999 as a global specialty lines company, L.I.U provides specialty casualty, marine, energy and engineering lines of insurance.
Cogentric delivers solutions that enable e-business viability. Its products and services analyze and assess the strengths and vulnerabilities of complex e-business web infrastructures. The company is headquartered in Portsmouth, N.H.
