Gomez Advisors: Online Quote-To-Policy Yet to

The results of Gomez Advisors’ Spring 2000 Internet Insurance Scorecard shows that, while leading firms continue to simplify online quoting and application processes, the Internet insurance industry has yet to fully embrace online quote-to-policy fulfillment.

Of the 32 Internet insurance firms evaluated this quarter, QuickenInsurance took home first place with improved customer service and a comprehensive array of educational content and decision support tools. Insweb finished in the number two spot overall, earning top honors in the Customer Confidence and Onsite Resources categories.

GE Financial Network rounded out the top three, jumping from ninth place last quarter thanks to improvements in the Customer Confidence category.
