Relation Acquires Illinois’ Joseph M. Wiedemann & Sons

Relation Insurance Services announced their acquisition of the assets of Joseph M. Wiedemann & Sons, Inc. (JMWS). The transaction went into effect on August 1, 2025; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

JMWS, a fourth-generation family-owned business based in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, has been serving customers since 1930. They offer a mix of both personal and commercial lines of insurance products and services, focusing on P&C and employee benefits.

Their offices will continue to be led by partners John Wiedemann and Ned Cooke, who along with their staff, are committed to continuing to deliver the personalized service their clients have come to expect.
