Iowa Woman Charged With Insurance Fraud
Sarah Rahm, age 39, of Bondurant, Iowa was charged with one count of Insurance Fraud – Presenting False Information (Class D Felony), following an investigation by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau.
The charges against Rahm stem from an investigation that began in March of 2024. According to the criminal complaint filed by the Iowa Insurance Division’s Fraud Bureau, Rahm made willful misrepresentations regarding her pet’s medical history and then falsified the onset date of a claimed medical condition in connection with an insurance claim.
Rahm was arrested and booked into the Polk County Jail on May 3, 2024. Rahm posted a $5,000 bond and was released.
