Leif Assurance Hires Galvan as Commercial Lines Account Manager

Leif Assurance, headquartered in St. Louis, hired Mayra Galvan as commercial lines account manager. Galvan is responsible for managing clients’ renewal process and assisting with new business acquisitions.

Galvan brings 13 years of insurance industry experience to her position. Before joining Leif Assurance, she held various roles, including senior insurance account executive and insurance and property tax manager, overseeing both commercial and personal lines accounts.

Applied Underwriters Names Holtmeier VP, Strategic Development, for M&A and Partnership Alliances

Applied Underwriters, headquartered in Omaha, named Gregg Holtmeier as vice president of strategic development. He will collaborate with the Applied team in M&A, corporate alliances and partnership relationships.

Holtmeier has been in the insurance and reinsurance fields since 2000. He previously served as chief strategy officer and executive vice president (EVP) at BMS Group, EVP at Guy Carpenter and EVP at JLT Re.
