Hatten Taking on New Management Role at Iowa’s Holmes Murphy
Iowa-based insurance services firm Holmes Murphy has named Susan Hatten as senior manager, Corporate Community Engagement, a newly created position that fits Hatten’s expertise.
Hatten was formerly an account executive. This new role is reflective of the connections Hatten has developed across the Holmes Murphy enterprise.
Hatten will be responsible for the development of Holmes Murphy’s Foundation strategic philanthropy initiatives and will serve as philanthropic advisor for the enterprise. During her time at Holmes Murphy, Hatten has developed an extensive network that will prove valuable as she develops and implements a charitable giving and corporate engagement strategy in each of Holmes Murphy’s markets.
Hatten has been a part of the Holmes Murphy team for four years. In addition to her work at Holmes Murphy, she is an incredibly active member of the community. Susan is currently the vice president of Operations and incoming state board president for Variety, the Children’s Charity of Iowa; the immediate past-president of the board for the Wine Festival Foundation; a mentor for the Global Insurance Accelerator; a mentor for Million Women Mentors Iowa; and writer for Lift IOWA, among other involvements.
