Esurance Lays Off 30 Workers in South Dakota
About 30 Esurance employees in Sioux Falls have lost their jobs as part of cuts within the insurance company.
The Argus Leader reports that has Esurance cut 100 jobs, mostly in Sioux Falls and in two California locations. The San Francisco-based company said the cuts will reduce its operating costs.
The cuts in Sioux Falls come just a week after the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society laid off more than 100 workers in the city.
