Keystone Insurers Group Expands into Michigan
Keystone Insurers Group has expanded to 11 states with the addition of its first partner in Michigan, Saginaw Bay Underwriters. Saginaw Bay Underwriters has offices in Saginaw, Bay City and Midland.
Saginaw Bay Underwriters was established in 1863. Current President Peter Ewend is a native of Saginaw and joined the agency in 1986. Chief Operating Officer Jim Roberts joined the agency in 2003. Over the past three years SBU has worked with various universities to expose their students to the insurance industry through 23 internships.
Founded in 1983 Keystone has grown to include nearly 300 independent agency partners in 11 states.
