Michigan Agent Named IIABA Young Agent of the Year
The National Young Agents Committee (YAC) of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA or the Big “I”) has presented Kelly Hume of the Young Agents Council of the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA) with its Outstanding Young Agent of the Year award.
Hume is an independent insurance agent at Tawas Bay Insurance Agency in East Tawas, Michigan.
Hume’s career in the insurance industry started when she was an intern at Mid Valley Insurance in Saginaw, Michigan. She joined the Duclos Insurance Agency team in 2004 and continued to climb through the ranks. Recently, she joined the Tawas Bay Insurance Agency.
She also serves on the MAIA Young Agents Council and is responsible for much of the social media outreach.
Hume and her fellow her Michigan young agents were also presented with the 2016 Outstanding Big “I” Young Agents Committee Award at the recent Big “I” Fall Leadership Conference in Chicago.
