Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires Wisconsin’s Burkwald & Assoc.

Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker and risk management services provider, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., has acquired Burkwald & Associates Inc. of Pewaukee, Wis. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1978, Burkwald & Associates is a management and employee benefits consulting firm that offers a full range of group employee benefits products and consulting services to their commercial and public entity clients throughout the Midwest. The firm specializes in providing strategic planning, employee benefits, employee communications, education, and wellness products and services.

Daniel Burkwald and his team will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of William Ziebell, Gallagher’s North Central employee benefit consulting and brokerage leader.
