Compass Specialty Risk Launched in Wisconsin

Compass Specialty Risk LLC, a new wholesale insurance broker and managing general agent has commenced national operations. The firm is headquartered in Middleton, Wis., with another office in Sacramento, Calif.

Compass Specialty Risk is led by Michael R. Morman, who serves as the firm’s managing director.

Morman will be responsible for the company’s overall operations, growth and expansion.

Previously Morman was with a national wholesaler and has also held positions with two other national wholesale brokers in the Midwest and the West Coast. He has also held a variety of positions in both claims and underwriting for a national insurance carrier.
