Insurance to Pay After North Dakota Senior Drives Through Fresh Cement
A road construction company says it will have to redo 50 feet of concrete on a Fargo street after a 78-year-old woman drove through fresh cement.
The accident happened in a construction zone near 25th Street and Interstate 94. Authorities say the woman became confused and drove her car through 12 inches of wet cement until she got stuck.
KFGO radio reports that the woman will not be cited but her insurance company will pick up the tab for replacing the concrete.
Damage is estimated to be $10,000.
