Zimmer Named VP, Mergers and Acquisitions at Sentry Insurance

Michael V. Zimmer has been named vice president of mergers and acquisitions for Stevens Point, Wis.-based Sentry Insurance.

Zimmer joined with Sentry in 2005, most recently serving as vice president – chief accounting officer.

Zimmer’s insurance industry experience spans over 25 years. He has served as a vice president with Mutual of Omaha and as a vice president of Fireman’s Fund. Prior to that, he was a public accountant with KPMG specializing in its insurance industry practice.

Headquartered in Stevens Point, Sentry employs more than 4,000 associates in 41 states.
