Byrne Named Chair of The Council of Employee Benefits Executives
Tim Byrne, vice president and partner at Wisconsin-based M3 Insurance, has been named chair of the Council of Employee Benefits Executives (CEBE), effective June 1, 2013.
The Council of Employee Benefits Executives is a standing working committee of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) and was chartered in 2001 to represent the benefits business interests of the council’s member firms.
Byrne has been with M3 Insurance since 1984, and has worked in the insurance industry for more than 40 years. Throughout his career he has served on a myriad of industry boards and task forces, and he participated in the federal health care reform debate of 2009-2010. In addition, Byrne has held leadership positions with numerous non-profit organizations.
