OSHA Investigating Death At South Dakota Steel Business
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is looking into the death of a worker at a Rapid City, S.D. steel business.
Twenty-six-year-old Adam Klynsma was killed at TrueNorth Steel on Friday. Pennington County Capt. Marty Graves tells the Rapid City Journal that a 12-foot steel beam weighing 1,600 pounds fell on Klynsma. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His funeral is Wednesday.
TrueNorth Steel Safety Director Rod Schober did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Rapid City Journal or The Associated Press.
