Marsh U.S. Consumer Names Shestack Benefits Sales Leader

Urbandale, Iowa-based Marsh U.S. Consumer, a broker and administrator of affinity insurance and membership product programs, announced the appointment of Rob Shestack as sales leader for Employer Benefits.

Shestack brings more than 20 years of industry experience to Marsh U.S. Consumer. He joins from The Trion Group, where he was national practice leader of voluntary benefits; prior to Trion, Shestack was a senior vice president at Universe Workplace Benefits. He also was president and COO of Ameriflex, a leading third party administrator of flexible spending accounts which he founded in 1998.

In addition to his responsibilities at Marsh, Shestack is president of the Workplace Benefits Association, and will be inducted into the association’s Workplace Benefits Hall of Fame in July. An accomplished author and speaker, he wrote a chapter on critical illness in the 2008 book “Workplace Marketing – A Promise to Deliver.”
