Ohio Department of Insurance Changes Web Address

Ohio Department of Insurance Director Mary Jo Hudson has announced that the Department Web site address will now be http://www.insurance.ohio.gov. The old address, (www.ohioinsurance.gov) will remain active for a several months but will eventually be shut down in place of the new address.

“We made this change to make our web site address easier for Ohioans to remember and to bring it in line with the rest of the state agencies,” said Director Hudson.

The new Web site will allow browers to search by key words, and allow visitors to find a licensed insurance agent or agency, file a complaint and report fraud.
