Mo. Dept. Names New Chief Financial Examiner
The Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration recently announced that Fred Heese will serve as the new chief financial examiner for the Insurance Solvency & Company Regulation Division.
Heese previously oversaw financial examinations of insurance companies as audit manager. He is a certified public accountant and a certified financial examiner. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and sits on the board of governors for the Society of Financial Examiners. He has been serving as acting chief financial examiner for the department since April. Heese has been with the department for over 20 years. Heese graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance before receiving a master’s of business administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
