Burns & Wilcox Note Expansion

Burns & Wilcox, a national specialty insurance managing general agency, announced the expansion and move of the company¹s St. Louis, Mo., office.

“Due to our increasing volume, we literally grew out of our office,” said St. Louis Branch Manager David Chernus. “We now occupy 6,000 square feet, which is perfect to accommodate our agents’ increasing demand for our services.”

Chernus added that progress for the company was the result of finding success in placing products liability coverage for hard-to-place risks, such as manufacturers of critical and aftermarket automotive parts, as well as aircraft and aviation-related products.

“These areas, along with heavy manufacturing risks, such as power tool manufacturers or importers of at-risk products, has fueled our growth,” Chernus said. “We expect these to be areas of continued growth for our office.”
