Insurance Resource Consultants of Chicago Names Baranek Managing Director

Frank Baranek has been named the managing director of Insurance Resources Consultants of Chicago, a division of Fair Oaks, Calif.-based IR Group Cos. Baranek was previously the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the largest wholesale brokerage in the United States.

During his career he also held officer-level positions with responsibilities for managing general agencies and reinsurance brokerage. In addition, he was CEO of one of the largest distributors of insurance products for banks.

In his new role, he will provide strategic planning, merger and acquisition due diligence, and operational consulting for IR Group’s national corporate development practice serving wholesale brokers and MGAs. Baranek can be reached at (847) 275-3070 or frank.baranek@irgroupco.com.
