Aon Misses Settlement Talk Deadline in Overtime Wage Suit, Plaintiffs’ Attorneys Say
Two Texas law firms representing plaintiffs in a class-action suit against Aon Corp. for overtime wage claims said the company failed to meet a Friday deadline to continue negotiations.
Edwards & George LLP and Bruckner Burnch PLLC said this would result in continued litigation against the Chicago-based insurance carrier and wholesale retailer.
The law firms did not provide any more details about what Aon was supposed to have done by the Friday deadline. They represent a class action of Aon employees upset about the company’s “systematic and unlawful docking of salaries” and seeking an estimated $30 million in damages.
