The Young Agents Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) has presented its highest young agents accolade to the Young Agents Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana (IIAI) for the third straight year.
The 2002 award was presented at IIABA’s 27th Annual Young Agents Leadership Conference held in conjunction with the New Orleans InfoXchange. “The award recognizes the outstanding efforts made by a state young agents committee in the areas of political involvement, membership development, communications, committee project, and the young agents meeting as well as a committee’s promotion of the independent agency system,” said the announcement.
IIABA President Thomas B. Ahart, CPCU, AAI. lauded the winners, stating that “The dedicated young agents in Indiana have continued their tradition of making the most of the opportunity to impact the future of the independent agency system. We are pleased to recognize their remarkable efforts and likewise commend all young agent committees receiving awards today.
