Celaris Group Acquires Value Added Benefits

Celaris Group Inc. a full-service insurance agency headquartered in Bowling Green, Ohio, has acquired Value Added Benefits Ltd., a wholesale insurance business headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.

Celaris, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sky Financial Group, Inc., an integrated financial services company also headquartered in Bowling Green. Value Added Benefits is an Ohio limited liability company and was previously owned by individuals associated with the Herbruck, Alder and Company and Corporate Plans Inc., employee benefits and financial services firms located in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

With the addition of Value Added Benefits, the company will have 10 offices in Ohio: Bowling Green, Cleveland, Columbus, Defiance, Fostoria, Fremont, Lima, Marion, Sylvania and Tiffin.
