Indiana House Passes Producer Licensing Bill

Producer licensing legislation has advanced in Indiana as the House of Representatives approved House Bill 1674, based on the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ model.

The National Association of Independent Insurers has urged the Indiana Senate to amend the proposal to exempt customer service representatives from licensing requirements.
