Hub International Buys Saskatchewan-Based Broker, Cottenie & Gardner

Hub International Ltd., the Chicago-based global insurance brokerage, announced that it has acquired Cottenie and Gardner Inc., a Kamsack, Saskatchewan-based independent broker.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Cottenie & Gardner provides personal and commercial insurance solutions, including in the government auto and farming sectors.

Co-owners Ted Gardner and Les Fedorak will be joining Hub International Manitoba Ltd.

Hub International is a full-service global insurance broker providing property and casualty, life and health, employee benefits, investment and risk management products and services. It employs more than 11,000 people throughout North America.
