Markel’s Maher Joins AXIS Cyber Team

AXIS Insurance announced the hiring of Andrew Maher as senior cyber underwriter.

Maher joins AXIS from Markel in London, where he spent two years as a senior cyber underwriter. He began his career at Beazley, where he held several underwriting roles, including working within the company’s Information Security and Beazley Breach Response teams.

Maher will be based in London and will report to Dan Trueman, global head of Cyber and Technology at AXIS.
