Hiscox Hires Mackey as Energy Underwriter, Completing Energy Team
Lorraine Mackey has joined Hiscox’s London market energy team as an energy underwriter. Mackey’s appointment completes the team led by Charles Rawlins, energy line underwriter, and also includes Louis Cozon.
Previously at AXIS Capital, Mackey has six years’ underwriting experience across various product lines including offshore, onshore and renewable energy, marine, property, aviation and terrorism, with the last three years focused on offshore energy.
Commenting on the appointment, Simon Williams, head of marine and energy, said: “I am pleased that Lorraine has joined us to complete our energy team. Led by Charles Rawlins, who has previously grown Hiscox’s hugely successful terrorism account, we have the underwriting and claims expertise in place to further cement our position as a leading energy market, delivering a high quality service for the benefit of both our clients and brokers.”
