Mt. Logan Re Ltd. Appoints Caponigro as Head of Business Development

Bermuda-based Mt. Logan Re Ltd.* has appointed Chris Caponigro as head of business development.

Caponigro brings a diverse background with over 20 years of experience, which includes property, specialty, and structured underwriting, in addition to various financial and analytical roles. He was most recently with Platinum Underwriters Bermuda, Ltd., where he served as head of North American catastrophe lines, prior to its acquisition by Renaissance Re. Prior to joining Platinum, between 1995 and 2002, Caponigro worked at St. Paul Re.

Caponigro earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Susquehanna University, and a Master in Business Administration in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He holds CPCU, ARe and AMIM designations.
