Great American Receives Approval for Singapore Office

Great American Insurance Group announced that the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has granted a formal license approval for its flagship insurance company, Great American Insurance Company, to establish a branch operation in Singapore.

The bulletin noted that the authorization by MAS “has also approved the appointment of Mr. Chee Keng Koon as the Chief Executive of Great American Insurance Company – Singapore Branch.”

He has over 30 years of business experience and knowledge in the Singapore and Asian general and marine insurance markets, and “is well-known across the Asian region with ship owners, maritime industry experts, insurance agents, insurance brokers and other insurance industry participants.”

The Group’s Singapore office is located at 3 Temasek Avenue, #16-01 Centennial Tower Singapore 039190.
