Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty Names Kadow as Chief Agent for Canada
Allianz Group’s specialist corporate insurer, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), has appointed Ulrich Kadow as chief agent for Canada effective immediately. Based in Toronto, Kadow will lead AGCS’s commercial insurance business in Canada and will report to Arthur Moossmann, president and CEO of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty North America.

Successful initiatives such as the introduction of our mid-market package & multiline product, the start-up of the entertainment practice, the creation of dedicated financial lines teams for professional indemnity, directors & officers, and errors & omissions, and the solid growth of products in marine, aviation, property, liability, energy and engineering underscore our commitment to the region,” said Moossmann
Since 2006, Kadow has held a variety of positions within AGCS in Europe, Asia and North America and was most recently global head of package & multiline where he established the mid-market property, liability and engineering business in Canada, Asia, South Africa, Australia and Denmark.
Kadow earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and an M.S. in Computer Science from University of Technology Munich TUM. He also holds the CPCU designation.
