Hacala Appointed Financial Institutions Practice Leader, Willis Canada

Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings, has appointed of Roger Hacala as senior vice president and financial institutions practice leader, Willis Canada.

In this new role, Hacala will oversee the financial institutions practice within Willis’s Canada region, which serves clients from its offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, and Montreal. In addition to being responsible for business development, client engagement and talent development, he will work closely with Willis’ Global Financial Institutions Group, helping clients manage changing regulatory pressures and economic uncertainties.

Hacala, who is based in Toronto, will report to Kevin McMurray, managing partner, Willis of Canada.

Prior to joining Willis, Hacala served as senior vice president, corporate risk, Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company. Hacala has also held prominent roles at Arthur J. Gallagher and Travelers.
