Turner Steps Down as Marketform CEO & Director
Lloyd’s insurer Marketform has announced that Simon Turner has stepped down as a Director and as CEO of Marketform Managing Agency Ltd and Director of Marketform Limited as of January 13, 2012.
Former COO John O’Neill has taken over as interim CEO. He explained: “In order to focus on the continuing recovery of Simon’s wife, Holly Bellingham, and due to the ongoing needs of Marketform, Simon took the decision after some leave of absence to resign these positions in the best interests of the company, and thus enable him to now give his full attention to matters at home.”
He added that Turner would remain “on the board of Marketform Group Limited and other group companies as well as being a substantial shareholder of the holding company, Marketform Group Ltd.”
Marketform was founded in 1989. In December 2007 American Financial Group Inc. became the majority shareholder in Marketform Group Limited securing the company as a key UK and international specialist insurer underwriting a diverse range of commercial insurance.
